Most of you reading this blog will already know that my sister Catherine had her new baby Ava Friday night, February 1st. That’s Jana’s mother’s birthday. The baby came surprisingly early, but is doing well from the accounts I’ve heard. Congratulations, Catherine and Zac!
Here are a couple pictures of our girls riding horses at a neighbor’s birthday party last week. They both loved it!

That party was pretty neat. The birthday kid was just turning one, but they went all out. There were horse rides, a “petting zoo” with all sorts of animals in an enclosed area (rabbits, a pig, goats, and others). Plus they had one of those big blow-up bouncy jungle gyms. I was surprised the girls liked the horses so much, but glad they did. We should be at dinner Sunday…see you there!
