Tonight we went to see the Zoo Lights with the Brimley clan. For those of you without children under 10 or living outside of Arizona, Zoo Lights is something the Phoenix Zoo puts on during the Christmas season. They put a bunch of Christmas lights up and infuse the zoo with all-around Christmas style. We had a good time.
We only saw a few animals – zebras, an otter, and the sting rays in the petting pool. The kids also got to ride the merry-go-round. Anna wanted to push her stroller, which was a bit of a problem since it’s an old stroller that doesn’t go very straight even when adults push it. We got some ice cream on the way home.
Now we’re preparing a bit for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Actually Jana’s doing most of that. I’m looking forward to a few days off of work to catch up on some other things.
